Welcome to California Wind Tech, where we provide entry level training for wind technicians, wind industry
professionals, and technical representatives. In order to meet the growing demand for a workforce trained in wind turbine systems, we
at California Wind Tech offer a monthly course that is both fast paced and filled with specialized information. Students enrolled in
our monthly course find that our lecture and technical lab are engineered to educate them on topics ranging from wind turbine
construction to schematic reading and circuit troubleshooting. In fact, it is in our design that every student in our program is provided with
the information they need to begin a successful career in a wind turbine job. Thank you for your interest in California
Wind Tech and we invite you to learn more about our
and
certificate requirements.

‒ Wind Energy Report ‒
According to projections published in the EIA’s International Energy Outlook (IEO2010), the world’s energy consumption will grow by
approximately 50% over the next 3 ½ decades. With this surge in demand set to overburden most traditional energy resources, it becomes easy to
see how, “renewables are [now] the fastest-growing source of world energy supply,” as stated by EIA Administrator Richard Newell. This fact
should come as no surprise to wind industry insiders as market studies have shown that the United States is on track to bring an additional
160 Gigawatts of wind energy capacity online by 2025. With such fantastic growth set for the future, many who have been looking for wind
turbine jobs have also discovered the fact that U.S. wind energy investment will total close to $330 billion dollars between 2010 and 2025. As
one can imagine, this huge influx of capital will create thousands of new wind energy jobs in states spanning across North America. Check back
soon for our next wind industry update and wind energy report.

As a responsible educational provider for the renewable energy industry, we are always working to promote environmentally sustainable
practices. By switching our hosting service to GreenGeeks we have gone one step further in this effort, as their excessive purchase of wind
power means that our site is truly carbon negative. To learn more please click the icon below labeled, “This site is hosted Green.”
